NAD+, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, is the coenzyme cells use to turn nutrients into energy, and levels in skin fall with age. Brands add it to firming formulas to support renewal, and applying it to skin is a newer idea than taking it as a supplement, so topical research is still early.
